BIRDS – Concert Performance with refugee children

„Lunch concert“ in Kunststation Sankt Peter on 5th of December 1 PM.

Advent – Arrival – Adventure. In our contemporary search for alternatives to shopping romanticism of christ children, reindeer and angels heads, the „Lunch concert“ on 5th of December brings a group of syrian refugee children to the Kunststation Sankt Peter, which is an Art room as well as an Jesuit church near to the central Neumarkt. These children are the center of an Concert Performance including oud (arabic lute), vocal soloists and choir, which – entitled BIRDS – is dedicated to the adventure of arrival.

BIRDS are flying high, nest in the sky and connect the continents. They always live in danger without any save and solid ground. They are symbols for freedom and peace, in nursery rhymes they announce the spring. Old myths though tell us another sort of birds: tremendous giant ones that can cause storms and lash the sea, destroy human lifes and even morph into humans. Also this kind of birds the children know from their home countrys. Twin-headed Birds!

The Concert Performance opens a creative chance to the children who will sing songs in several languages, dance and perform. Beyond that they become a surface which is for us as spectators interesting and fascinating: (These) Children come from another world, they pass over borders and carry pictures, storys and experiences which would often surmount our comprehension. They do not show those experiences at first sight, quite the contrary – but yet it ist possible to see it as if through a cover.

Next Thurseday I am going to play at Bar Ao Vivo with some great musicians Itamar Collaço (b), Raphael Braga (guit) and Jabes Felipe (dr).
We are going to play music written by me and some brazilian Songs.
Show starts at 9:30 pm. I’m looking forward to it!

Na próxima 5a feira eu vou tocar na casa de jazz Ao Vivo em Moema. Vou estar acompanhada de grandes músicos brasileiros: Itamar Collaço (baixo), Raphael Braga (guitarra) and Jabes Felipe (bateria). Nós vamos tocar vários músicar minhas e algumas músicas brasileiras também.

Es geht los, heute Abend startet unsere Mini-Tour
im KulturSalon Freiraum in Köln um 20:00 Uhr.
Morgen geht es weiter mit einem Vocal Workshop und anschließendem Konzert im “Alter Stall der Herrenmühle” 36088 Hünfeld-Mackenzell auch um 20:00 Uhr.
Am Sonntag spielen wir im Museumscafé in Fulda um 18:00 Uhr.

Zum Abschluss geht es wieder zurück nach Köln ins Arkadas Theater am Dienstag den 12. Mai um 20:00 Uhr!

Morgen spielen wir überaus tanzbare Musik mit ‘Return (to the 70s)’ = Anne-Christine Heinrich, Eva Buchmann, Sebastian Scobel, Lukas Meile, Jakob Kühnemann, Tim Dudek und mir, im Roxy! Los geht’s um 21:00 Uhr. Kommt, es macht tierisch Laune!

Am Donnerstag den 23.April feierte der Mädchengesangsverein sein Debut beim Abschlusskonzert von Sonja Katharina Mross auf der Bühne des großartigen Artheaters in Köln Ehrenfeld.

Nach diesem erfolgreichen Start möchten wir euch einladen am Mittwoch Abend den 29.April um 20:00 Uhr in den Kammermusiksaal der Hochschule Köln zu kommen zu “LA cité des Dames”.

Der gemischte Kammerchor “Vox Quadrata” debütiert mit einem Konzertprogramm rund um Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdys “Drei Psalmen” op.78.
Außerdem werden Psalm- und Gebetsvertonungen aus Renaissance, Romantik und Moderne zu hören sein.

Das Konzert findet am 01.02.15 um 17.00 Uhr in St. Josef Mannheim-Lindenhof (Bellenstraße 67) statt.

2014 neigt sich dem Ende zu.
Mit einem abgeschlossenen Bachelorstudium in der Tasche geht es mit neuen Projekten und Plänen weiter ins neue Jahr.
Von Charlotte’s most wanted werden wir nächstes Jahr endlich einige Video’s meines Abschlusskonzert’s online stellen und meine Homepage bekommt einen neuen Anstrich.
Anfang des Jahres wird auch eine Live CD fertig sein. Wir freuen uns!
